On Search Strings:
I'm getting a lot of amusing search-strings leading people to my little site. Some are spot-on. Some are people either searching for MP3s (led by my "Now Playing" info, probably), and from some people searching for adult fanfiction.
Owing to the fact that I've been to a couple of gigs and talked about it on here, I've had a few hits on The Family Mahone. So I thought it might be an idea to link their official site form here.
(I will be putting a link in the Links Bar to the right, when i get around to it...)
The Family Mahone
They're a folk/drinking-song band who hail form the North of England. (Mainly Chester and Manchester)
They're fronted by BBC Radio 1 DJ Mark Radcliffe, who mostly provides lead vocals and drumming under his persona of DJ Mahone.
Also in the band are Donal Mahone (guitar), Charlie Mahone (bass guitar), Doc Mahone (fiddle & banjo), Rusty Mahone (accordian) and Christy Mahone (mandolin, banjo & pedalsteel).
Oh, and they're ably assisted by Jock Mahone (on Transit Van) and Es (on "kicking drunken revellers from getting too close to the stage") and (I'm reliably informed) Chris Hassle (sound guy).
And not forgetting regular gig-attendee and occasional T-shirt Roadie Beth "Pixiedancer" McJury.
