The Basics

Well, I'm a 25-year-old young man, a Graduate of Computer Science, and currently not very high on the good old career ladder. I live in Leeds, though until this Summer I lived near Southampton. I live with my parents, but no longer with my brother - who's currently doing a year out at a Christian Project down in London.

Looks-wise, well that's me in the picture to the right. The glasses area permanent fixture, sadly the leather coat isn't - I borrowed it just for the picture.
The beard, however, is semi-permanent. Basically every few months I shave it off for a while, but always grow it back.

A Touch of Detail

The last 5 or so years have been interesting, to say the least. I was at University, I managed to pass my Degree, and I came out the other end with Depression. Sadly the Depression increased over that summer (1999), and I was still unable to find a job. This wasn't really a good thing.

To cut a long story short, since July 1999, my total about of job experience doesn't even make 12 months! Holding down a job isn't too hard - though I do tend to get worn down after a few months. The real problem is no real drive to look for work. I do want to get a job, I hate being unemployed. But it's just so hard to get motivated.

I'm still looking for work, just haven't been successful yet. Though I'm getting closer. I've been shortlisted down to a few interviews, and I'm now getting Work Experience doing an afternoon a week's Voluntary IT Support at a local Primary School.

Something will work out soon, I'm sure of it.
